Pre K and Combination Classes

*Dancers may be asked to go home and change if not properly attired.

Creative Movement

GIRLS: Light pink or black leotard, light pink or white tights, pink ballet slippers, and ballet skirt (if preferred). No tutus. Hair must be pulled back.

BOYS: Wear black bottoms and white tops for all classes. Shoes must be black.

Pre-Ballet Tap 1 and 2

GIRLS: Light pink or black leotard, light pink or white tights, pink ballet slippers, and ballet skirt (if preferred). No tutus. Black, patton leather tap shoes. Hair must be pulled back.

BOYS: Wear black bottoms and white tops for all classes. Shoes must be black.

Ballet/Tap/Jazz 1, 2, and 3

GIRLS: Black leotard, pink tights. Ballet skirt may be worn for ballet (if preferred). Jazz pants or capris may be worn for Jazz and Tap. Please ensure pants are not too long. Split sole ballet shoes preferred. black jazz shoes, and black leather full sole tap shoes. Hair must be pulled back.

BOYS: Wear black bottoms and white tops for all classes. Shoes must be black.

Advanced Classes

Tap 4, 5, and 6

GIRLS: Emphasis will be on the continued refining of rhythm and technique and more complex arms.

BOYS: Wear black bottoms and white tops for all classes. Shoes must be black.

Jazz 4, 5, and 6

GIRLS: Solid colored leotard, tights, and/or form fitting capris/jazz pants. Tan slip on jazz shoes unless otherwise specified.

BOYS: Wear black bottoms and white tops for all classes. Shoes must be black.

Ballet 4

GIRLS: Pink tights, teal leotard, pink canvas ballet shoes. Dancer may wear a ballet skirt (if preferred). No underwear or shorts. Hair must be pulled back and out of the dancer’s face in a bun.

BOYS: Wear black bottoms and white tops for all classes. Shoes must be black.

Ballet 5

See Ballet 4. NOTE for GIRLS: Red leotard required in place of teal leotard. Pink OR black tights.

Ballet 6

See Ballet 4 and 5. NOTE for GIRLS: Black leotard required. Pink OR black tights.

Elective Classes

Acrobatics

GIRLS: Any color leotard or shorts if desired. No tights or shoes. Hair must be in ponytail.

BOYS: Wear black bottoms and white tops for all classes. Shoes must be black.

Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Lyrical

GIRLS: Any color leotard and tights. Must wear ballet shorts. May wear camisole or form fitting tank top over leotard. Recital shoes will be specified close to recital performance.

BOYS: Wear black bottoms and white tops for all classes. Shoes must be black.

Open Ballet

GIRLS: Any color leotard and tights.

BOYS: Wear black bottoms and white tops for all classes. Shoes must be black.

Pre-Pointe and Pointe

GIRLS: Any color leotard, pink or black tights. Hair must be in a bun.

BOYS: Wear black bottoms and white tops for all classes. Shoes must be black.

Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Hip-Hop

GIRLS: Comfortable clothing that can the dancer can move and stretch in. No provocative clothing. May wear jazz shoes or hip=hop sneakers. Dancer may wear tennis shoes if they are solely dedicated to dance and not used for outside. Student may be required to wear hip-hop sneakers for recital.

BOYS: Wear black bottoms and white tops for all classes. Shoes must be black.
