Pre K and Combination Classes
*Ages are not set in stone but merely suggestions and based on history. Every dancer is different.
Creative Movement (2 - 3 years old and must be potty trained)
This class is designed to build confidence, coordination, and strength - all while exploring the joy of movement in a flexibly structured, joyous atmosphere.
Pre-Ballet Tap 1 (3 - 4 years old) and Pre-Ballet Tap 2 (4 - 6 years old)
Students will spend a half an hour on ballet and a half an hour on tap. In each style the students will learn the basics and fundamentals while a foundation is built for future training through musicality, self expression, and discipline.
Ballet/Tap/Jazz 1 (6 - 8 years old)
This class is designed to hold the interest of the younger student but intended for a slightly older and more mature dancer than the Pre Classes. At this level true dance discipline is taught and dance vocabulary is expanded.
Ballet/Tap/Jazz 2 (7 - 9 years old)
As the next step after BTJ 1, this begins an in depth training regimen into these core dance disciplines. Tap introduces more rhythm steps and tricks. Ballet emphasizes proper placement and technique while Jazz will emphasize body movement and placement.
Ballet/Tap/Jazz 3 (8 - 11 years old)
This is the final combination class before the Advanced a-la-carte classes. The goal in this class is to build upon already learned technique to refine the dancer before the Advanced classes.
Advanced Classes
Tap 4 (By placement only)
Emphasis will be on the continued refining of rhythm and technique and more complex arms.
Ballet 4 (By placement only)
Emphasis will be on the continued refining of proper technique and improved turnout and flexibility. This is a classically structure ballet class.
Jazz 4 (By placement only)
Emphasis will be on the continued refining of expressive free movement while under control along with the extensions of feet, legs, and arms.
Ballet 5, 6/Tap 5, 6/ Jazz 5, 6 (By placement only - separate classes)
Dancers should have mastered all previous skill levels for these rigorous classes. Students are encouraged to audition for dance team and elective offerings once reaching this point.
Elective Classes
Intermediate Acrobatics (5 - 10 years old)
An introductory class combining skill training (tumbling, balance skills, turns, leaps, dance movements) which is integrated with choreography.
Advanced Acrobatics (By placement only)
This is a continuation of the Intermediate class with more advanced gymnastic moves.
Beginning Lyrical (7 - 10 years old)

Intermediate Lyrical
Dancers build on previous learned skills to refine their freedom of movement within space.
Advanced Lyrical (By placement only)
Dancers continue to build on previous learned skills while learning more technical turns and jumps along with precise movements.
Pre-Pointe (Teacher recommendation)
This is an extension of ballet where the most basic pointe technique is taught. The focus will be on improving turnout and extension.
Pointe (By placement only)
Dancers continue to build on previous learned skills and will learn more advanced technique while having an innovative and modern interpretation of song.
